Dr. Richard Holland has a Bachelor of Arts from Berklee College of Music, a Masters of Musical Arts from DePaul University and has his Doctorate in Classical Performance from Michigan State University. He has studied with Richard Illman, Scott Thornburg, Ross Beacraft, John McNeill, Charlie Banacos, Marcus Belgrave and Lou Smith. He has performed with the Louie Bellson Band, Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, Harry Connick, Fred Hersch, Scott Robinson, Hendrick Meurkens, Natalie Cole, Johnny Mathis, Frank Mantooth, Bill Dobbins, and many more.
